Finance Opportunities with the Ted Wragg Trust (Term-time and all year round)
The Ted Wragg Trust is looking for enthusiastic Finance personnel to join the thriving and dynamic Finance Team (central and school-based). These are exciting opportunities for individuals looking to develop their career in Finance and Administration, or those with previous experience. The roles will suit candidates who want to work within our ambitious Trust of Schools, with a commitment to education.
Roles are varied and the successful applicants will need to demonstrate an ability to work in a flexible and supportive manner as part of the Trust’s finance community (a network of professionals across the Trust’s schools). Candidates will have an ever-present attention to detail with a passion for education, accuracy and excellent personal skills.
These are key roles that assist in the provision of a Finance Service to Trust Schools, and to external customers of the Trust.

- Finance Officer – Isca Academy
- Finance Officer – St James School
- Finance and Contracts Assistant – Trust Core Services based at Cranbrook Education Campus
- Finance Assistant – Trust Core Services based at Cranbrook Education Campus
Successful candidates will have strong administration and organisational skills, with keen attention to detail.
To be considered for these roles, you will need:
- Experience of Microsoft Office packages, including Word and Excel;
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills;
- Excellent attention to details and numeracy skills;
- The ability to work to deadlines;
- An effective team player mentality.
- A varied support role within our growing multi-academy trust of 12 schools.
- CPD / networking opportunities with colleagues across the Trust.
- Membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme.
- Free on-site parking
