Student Voice
Student Leadership is encouraged at Isca Academy as we believe it is critical for students to play a part in the day-to-day running of their school. They are major stakeholders in education, so hearing their voice is important to making Isca Academy the best school it can be.
We have a thriving Student Leadership Team and welcome applications from students in any year group, as this ensures we have a cross-section of our school community so everyone is represented. Student can apply for a variety of roles, including Head Student, Deputy Head Student, Charity Representatives and Anti-Bullying Ambassadors.
The Student Leadership Team is the central hub for our student voice opportunities. They represent our student body, serve as the link between students and staff, and help to create change and new opportunities. Regular meetings allow for discussion concerning aspects that matter to our students, as voiced by them. The outcomes of which are then presented to the senior leadership team regularly for review and action.
Our Student Leaders represent Isca Academy at school events, so please watch out for them and feel free to speak with them about our school and our community.
