Isca Academy’s Year 11 Celebrate “Life Changing” Results
In 2023 Isca Academy celebrated some of the best GCSE results in the school’s history, with 74% of Year 11 passing both English and maths. The class of 2023 gathered in the hall with teachers and parents to celebrate their incredible success and take pride in these life changing results.
With these results, students will be able progress to a wide range of courses and destinations from T-Levels to the International Baccalaureate. These results reflect some of the best English and maths results in Isca’s history and are testament to the hard work of Isca’s students and the outstanding staff that have supported them.
Morgan was one of those Year 11s ecstatic with his results. He achieved 8 GCSEs at Grade 7-9 and is going to Exeter College to study A-Levels. Morgan said “I am so pleased with my results and want to thank all of my teachers for their support and encouragement. They really helped me improve my results since my mock exams. I am stoked with my results!”.
Headteacher Vicki Joyce said “We are so proud of our Year 11s this year. The class of 2023 have done an incredible job and absolutely smashed their GCSE’s with 74% of children obtaining life changing passes in both Maths and English GCSEs. These are the best ever results in these subjects at Isca Academy! We are over the moon for our amazing students and their families. Huge congratulations to all!”
