Our school will be closed to all pupils on Monday 4th January in order to plan for the test and trace rapid-result process. In line with the latest government guidance we will be open from Tuesday 5th January for our Essential School to vulnerable students and those of key workers, as previously planned. For further information on the definition of vulnerable students and those of keyworkers, please visit the government website here.
However, the government have now advised that Year 11 will return to school on Monday 11th January. If your child has an exam next week, they will be continuing as planned and further information, regarding arrival times and the safety arrangements in place, will be provided to those families affected on Monday 4th January.
Remote learning will be in place for all students from Tuesday 5th January. On the 4th January, we will update you with more details on our remote learning plan. Whether we are able to offer live remote lessons or whether we will ask students to access curriculum materials and work independently, students will need to follow their normal school timetable and log in to the respective Goggle classroom. All Google classroom codes can be found inside your child’s Knowledge Organiser – new Spring term Knowledge Organisers can be found HERE. We will also email these directly to you on the 4th January. Help, advice and guidance can also be found on our website: https://iscaexeter.co.uk/school-life/parallel-curriculum/
Current guidance suggests that all remaining students will be able to return to school by Monday 18th January, but we will keep you updated with any changes.
