Attendance and Absence
If your child is absent please try to inform the school before the start of the school day by completing the Reporting Absence Form on this page, by email attendance@iscaexeter.co.uk, mark your email: Absence, date, name of child, or by calling 01392 204082 and selecting Attendance.
If your child is missing from morning registration you will receive an automated text from our Attendance Officer. Please ensure that we are given changes to mobile phone and email addresses so that you receive these important communications.
We believe that if students are to benefit from education, good attendance is crucial. As a school we do all we can to ensure maximum attendance for all students. Any problems that prevent full attendance will be identified and addressed as speedily as possible.
We actively promote and encourage 100 percent attendance for all our students.
We recognise that parents have a vital role to play and that there is a need to establish strong home-school links and communication systems that can be utilised whenever there is concern about attendance.
If there are problems which affect a student's attendance, we will strive in partnership with parents and children to resolve those problems as quickly and efficiently as possible and aim to return the student to full attendance.
