Starting at Isca Academy

Moving to secondary school can be both exciting and daunting. This is even more so now, in these unusual times when we are not able to attend school or do the things we normally take for granted, such as seeing our family and friends or going to the park.

On this page we will keep copies of all the letters and information that we send out to you so you can refer to it if you need to.

As we get nearer the end of the Summer term, we will be setting you tasks to complete in readiness for starting at Isca Academy.  In the meantime, make sure you keep up to date with the home learning set by your primary school and keep reading (remember Isca Academy is a Reading School).  If you have read a great book whilst you have been at home, we would love to receive your review.  Write it, take a photo of it and send it to Intake2020@iscaexeter.co.uk.

If you or your parents have any questions about starting at Isca Academy, please email them to Intake2020@iscaexeter.co.uk and will get back to you as soon as we can.

Welcome to Year 7 Students – April 2020

For Students

Dear Student

We are really excited that you will be joining Isca Academy in September.  Usually we would visit you in your primary school, but because the schools are closed at the moment we cannot do this, so, instead, we thought we would ask you for the information we would normally collect online.  Please click on the link to the Student Information Form to tell us about yourself.

Transition is a special time – mostly exciting, but we know it can be a bit scary, too.  To make this the best time possible for you, we want to get to know you and for you to get to know us, so look out in the next few weeks for further information and activities to help us do this.

Mr Goldson (Head of Year)
Mrs Lee (Transition Administrator)
