Component 2: Safe Dance Practice / Effective Dance Performance
Component 1 and 3: The Basics of Choreography
In this cycle, you have learnt how to be a safe and effective performer, and learnt some basic choreographic features.
You have practised and improved your skills of dressing safely, performing movement safely, warming up and cooling down effectively, preventing and treating injuries, and performing choreography effectively.

Component 1: Introduction to Component 1 / Emancipation of Expressionism by Boy Blue Entertainment
In this cycle, you have learnt about the roles and responsibilities of different practitioners in the performing arts, and the skills needed for each of these roles. You have also learnt about the constituent features of dance works such as stimulus, intention, purpose, movement components, choreographic processes, structure, aural settings and features of production.
