School Staff Instructor

Hours: 577 hours per year (see below)
Grade F, Actual salary : £9,945.29 – £11,180.70 *

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and capable School Staff Instructor (SSI), with a proven commitment to enhancing and developing the experiences of young people through providing high quality logistical support and training opportunities for our cadets.  You will be an enthusiastic and committed person with the necessary skills and qualities to fulfil the role with our Combined Cadet Force (Royal Marines Section) at Isca Academy.

* You will be required to work 577 hrs per annum flexibly term time, ensuring you are available on the school designated CCF day.
An additional volunteer allowance of £73.33 per day will be paid, for up to 51 days per annum, direct from the MOD for non-standard days worked (eg weekends, school holidays, trips)

Our successful Contingent has now been running for over 4 years and has 37 cadets parading regularly, which is expected to rise considerably this year.  We have a committed group of staff and volunteers who support and enhance our enrichment offer of which the CCF is part and are always seeking to appoint staff who are committed and passionate about the CCF and extracurricular activities during our recruitment processes.

Leisure Assistants – evening and weekend lettings

Fusion school services operate the community use for sports clubs and leisure activities utilising the school’s facilities that we are able to open up to the surrounding community. Our vision is to support local organisations in providing fitness and well-being activities for young children and adults.

Fusion School Services are looking to recruit Leisure Assistants to join our current team working at evenings and weekends.  We can offer a variety of shift patterns to suit.
You will work closely with the site management team to ensure that the booking space is set up and ready for the customers booking and this is packed away at the end of the activity in preparation for the school day.
An ability to work independently and having excellent communication skills so you can act as the first point of contact when visitors arrive for their bookings. At the end of the booking you will ensure that the building is secured and alarmed in line with our Lettings Policy.
