Isca Academy is an inclusive school.  We work hard to remove any barriers to education while retaining high expectations of every pupil.  We ensure that we work with due regard to the 2014 Special Educational Needs Code of Practice.

The Isca Inclusion team works with parents and feeder schools to take an individual approach to meeting each pupil’s needs.  Our approach may include internal interventions or engaging outside agencies but will always be personalised to an individual pupil. There are over 900 children in our school, all of whom are unique.  Our school prides itself on its inclusive approach to education and we are always working to develop what we do.  Well managed change is crucial to remain effective.
We always welcome visits from prospective parents, or parents of students already with us.  You are also welcome to bring someone with you on these visits, if you would like support. Visits can be organised by contacting our SENCO at SEND@iscaexeter.co.uk
