If your child is absent please try to inform the school before the start of the school day by calling 01392 204082, and selecting Attendance Office, or by email attendance@iscaexeter.co.uk, mark your email: Absence, date, name of child

If your child is missing from morning registration you will receive a call from our automated attendance software, Iris, which will request a reason for your child’s absence. Please ensure that we are given changes to mobile phone and email addresses so that you receive these important communications.

We believe that if scholars are to benefit from education, good attendance is crucial. As a school we do all we can to ensure maximum attendance for all scholars. Any problems that prevent full attendance will be identified and addressed as speedily as possible.

We actively promote and encourage 100 per cent attendance for all our scholars.

We recognise that parents have a vital role to play and that there is a need to establish strong home-school links and communication systems that can be utilised whenever there is concern about attendance.

If there are problems which affect a scholar’s attendance, we will strive in partnership with parents and scholars to resolve those problems as quickly and efficiently as possible and aim to return the scholar to full attendance.
