Welcome to Isca

Isca Headteacher, Vicki Joyce

I am delighted to welcome you to the Isca Academy website. Within these pages you will find a wealth of information about life at Isca, from the exciting curriculum and extensive extra-curricula opportunities available, to the celebration of student achievements and our exciting plans for the future.

We feel very proud to be part of the Ted Wragg Trust an ambitious and inclusive Trust of schools strengthening our communities through excellent education, transforming lives and making the world a better place.

    We INSPIRE our scholars,
    celebrate their SUCCESS,
    care about our COMMUNITY and
have AMBITION for every single child.

At Isca we place our students at the heart of everything that we do, and are relentless in the pursuit of excellence for every individual.

The health and well-being of our students is paramount and we recognise that challenging and stimulating inquisitive young minds, is the key to delivering a quality education that is not only second to none, but life changing. We are passionate about ensuring every single student achieves the very best that they can.

We make no apology for setting our standards high; it’s part of what we do here. We have high expectations of everyone at Isca, whether it be students’ attendance and punctuality, embracing equality and diversity, provision of a diverse, knowledge rich and challenging curriculum, disruption free learning in the classroom, or fostering good manners and respect for each other.

Isca has an experienced and skilled staff who have a track record of going above and beyond to provide exceptional opportunities for our students. We recognise that delivering great qualifications is important, however in parallel, building students’ character and self-esteem, nurturing their ambition and inspiring a new generation to achieve beyond their wildest imagination, is the Isca difference.

We are immensely proud of our school and would welcome the opportunity to show prospective students, parents, governors and colleagues around by prior appointment.
