The Ted Wragg Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of Mrs Vicki Joyce as the new Headteacher of Isca Academy from September 2022.
Mrs Joyce was appointed following a rigorous selection process which included interviews with staff, students, Senior Leaders and Governors, as well as an all staff presentation on the future of Isca Academy. Mrs Joyce stood out as an exceptional candidate to all involved. As part of an ambitious and inclusive trust of schools, she will be working with senior leaders to fulfil our commitment to transforming lives and strengthening communities to make the world a better place.
Mrs Joyce says: “I feel very privileged to have been appointed as Headteacher of Isca. I believe that every child at Isca should experience a first class education; leaving school with excellent qualifications and supported to move onto destinations of their choice.
“I am very excited to join the team and work with everyone to ensure that every child achieves their full potential. I have a range of leadership experiences, including working in outstanding secondary schools in different parts of the country. I am really excited about getting to know the Isca community better and helping the school on its journey towards exceptional teaching and learning and academic excellence. I look forward to working closely with you as we support your child on this important journey.”
Mrs Joyce will be at the school for a meet & greet event taking place on Wednesday 20th July from 1700-1800. This is an informal opportunity for you to come and say hello and ask any questions you may have going forward.
